The Sabac company “Korten Art” recently donated a disinfection tunnel to the Sabac Kovid ambulance, and this is a product that is extremely important during the epidemic, but whose importance for health will be equally great, and after the epidemic it is slowly becoming a brand of the young Sabac company.
So far, they have produced 11 tunnels, six are intended for donations, one is in Sabac, and the remaining five are donations in cooperation with the Innovation Activity Fund, and they will be distributed to the most critical places in Serbia on the Fund’s recommendation.
– We started to respect all prevention measures even before they were officially announced as mandatory. At first, we wanted to provide disinfection and protection for our employees, but then we got the idea to make a product that can help everyone protect against infections such as coronavirus. We try to be creative and enterprising, we saw what we needed for that and we soon started production. I am proud of all the employees, they are the pillar of this company, they are hardworking, capable people who adapt easily and the realization of every idea with them is much easier. All reactions to our product are positive, but we continue to improve to make each new series even better. We have all the necessary certificates, we plan to start exporting to the European market in the next period, as well as in Serbia, as well as in other countries. Our goal is to progress in every respect and to be recognized by the quality – said the co-owner and one of the directors of the company “Korten art” Bojan Lolić.
During the period of the epidemic and the measures that were adopted as a result, “Korten art” did not have interruptions in production, it even extended its working hours.
The company was started by young and professional people, mechanical engineers, creative guys, responsible people who want to create, know how, are ready to learn and the pride of the city is to exist in Sabac. Their approach and results are the right path that should encourage others who are thinking about starting their own business, said the mayor of Sabac, Nebojsa Zelenovic, during today’s visit to “Korten Art”.
– They have existed for less than three years, they started with one annual turnover, and every following year it is bigger. Young people who invest, not only money, but knowledge, time, new jobs, want to soon open opportunities for new workers. During the epidemic, when the business of many companies suffered, they hired two more workers. All I can do is congratulate them and wish them even more success in the coming years. I am impressed by the sacrifice, openness and willingness to react quickly in the new situation, adapt to the market and always find their place there. At the next Economic Council, I will present an offer for all companies in Sabac, if they are interested in installing disinfection tunnels at their entrances – said Zelenović.
He added that constant work and all those who create even in difficult times, show by their example that life must not stop. Entrepreneurship and solidarity, solidarity that implies respect for all recommendations on protection, dezo barriers, masks and gloves as a form of protection of one’s own and the health of others.
